We're celebrating British Cheese Awards success today at Shepherds Purse after the results of this year's competition were announced last night.
Shepherds Purse Cheeses founders, Judy and Nigel Bell, made the journey down to the show on Monday to stage our cheeses ready for judging which took place on Tuesday 27th May. The British Cheese Awards attracted almost 1000 entries this year, the first year since the merger with the Royal Bath and West Show.
The results were announced last night at the dinner and whilst Judy and Nigel enjoyed the celebration, word of the results reached us here this morning! Champagne breakfast all round!
