Harrogate Blue has been in development for over twelve months here on the farm, we were all excited by how much we loved the cheese and so to finally be able to launch the cheese was a great feeling.
We were celebrating a new cheese, a new look and and a new era for Shepherds Purse as we became a second generation family business. Judy Bell, (our Mum and the founder of Shepherds Purse) handed over the reins to her two daughters Katie and myself (Caroline).
It felt fitting that we have a party in Harrogate to celebrate and to thank our friends, family and supporters.
Thanks to our very talented friends at Robot Food who worked with us and designed our new look, glad you could join us for the party too. And thank you to all of you who were able to join us. We had a great time - it's always fun when the cheesemakers are allowed out to party :)
Special thanks to Brooke, the somellier team and wider team at Hotel du Vin who ensured the event ran so smoothly and aided in some great pairings with their beautiful range of wines.
